Description
Take your photographic skills to the next level. This class builds on basic photographic knowledge and looks at exposure, lighting and creative processes in more depth and allowing you to follow your own individual learning path. Challenge yourself with new techniques and undertake a major project for the term.
Content:
Digital photography catered for with access to computer suite and digital SLR cameras. Film users will have access to darkroom with tuition. Fully equipped photography studio, two field trips per term.
Objectives:
Move from being a person with a camera to a photographer who actively engages the world (and therefore themselves) through their camera. Take better photographs and also understand how to reach out to an audience, be it on the gallery wall or online.
Outcomes:
At the end of the class you are expected to have produced several photographs capable of being exhibited or have created an online photo album. This implies confidence with capturing a photograph and presentation.
